Apisense global
field research

Join the international testing of the Apisense system and help us develop technology that protects bees.

You will gain early access to innovative solutions, have a real impact on their development, and enjoy the opportunity to exchange experiences with experts and beekeepers from around the world.

2,000 hives worldwide

We are launching a unique project to install advanced sensors in 2,000 hives worldwide.

We invite leading scientists, top hive and beekeeping equipment manufacturers, and experienced beekeepers from different climate zones to join this collaboration.

One goal: healthier bees

Our mission is to create technology that truly supports the protection of bees. We want to gather expert feedback on the practicality and reliability of our solutions, collect data from field observations, and refine procedures and standards so that they are effective in every apiary – from small hobbyist setups to large commercial operations.

How the Apisense global field research program works

1.

Program objective

As part of the 2026 field research, Apisense plans to deploy 2,000 device sets in apiaries worldwide. Our goal is to collect data from different climate zones in order to further develop and refine the system for early detection of bee diseases.

2.

What does the beekeeper receive?

Each program participant receives a free Apisense kit, which includes:

  • an LTE gateway,

  • a hive monitoring scale,

  • 3–6 IoT sensors to be placed inside the hives.

The equipment is delivered by courier, and installation is simple and requires no specialized knowledge.

3.

Participant responsibilities

Participation in the research program is free of charge; however, the beekeeper agrees to:

  • regularly use the Apisense app,

  • complete forms sent by the system and confirm or deny the presence of disease symptoms detected by the system,

  • send photos or short video recordings via the app,

  • monitor Varroa mite drop,

  • provide samples of bees, combs, or honey for pathogen testing.

4.

Timeline

January 2026 – Apisense team contacts participants to confirm involvement,

March 2026 – equipment shipped after signing the agreement,

Sezon pszczelarski 2026 – zbieranie danych i współpraca w ramach programu.
